Emo kids work 'Digital Love' into their set

Hellogoodbye worked Daft Punk into their Main Stage set this afternoon (August 26) at Carling Weekend: Reading.

The Californians took to the stage at 1pm and attempted to win over the crowd with a 40-minute emo-synth-pop set comprised of tracks from their 'Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!' album and their 2004 self-titled EP including 'Here In Your Arms' and 'Oh It's Love'.

'We played Leeds the other day and everyone was super nice' singer Forrest Kline told the crowd 'But everyone says this is the big one'.

Having played a largely mid-tempo emo-pop set transitioned to a dance vibe for their closing songs, and during 'Touchdown Turnaround', the band worked in the opening lines of Daft Punk's 'Digital Love' before making way for Billy Talent.

Hellogoodbye return to the UK in November for a two-week tour kicking off November 27 in Cardiff.
