hellogoodbye Single Certified Platinum

Orange County popsters Hellogoodbye have turned heavy metal! Their formerly gold selling single “Here (In Your Arms)” from the album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! is now certified platinum. “Here (In Your Arms)” is the first platinum selling record for Drive-Thru Records and is a crowning achievement for the 10-year young label, not only as an indie but in today’s difficult business climate.

Hellogoodbye is currently co-headlining the inaugural “MySpace Sponsored Tour Series” playing 30 dates across North America this fall through November. They will spend the rest of year on a sold-out headlining tour of the UK. Next year, the quartet will begin writing a follow-up full-length album for release in 2008.

In the US, Hellogoodbye's debut full-length album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! has sold more than 406K albums. Their first release, a self-titled EP has sold more than 126K copies.

Hellogoodbye has been the musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Call with Carson Daly, MTV’s TRL, MTV Live and FUSE’s Steven’s Untitled Rock Show. The group has been featured by Alternative Press, Spin, Teen People, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Cosmo Girl, New York Post, Los Angeles Times and many other national and international publications.

well first, i had a GOOD day yesterday in san francisco! our life mentor, nightbeast, played us an encore(nightbeast @ myspace). and it was very naked. he has some sort of tribal pelt on. and i chilled with crazy crackheads around the venue. i REEK of urine now, and i LOVE it. i'll miss you guys (the crackheads). also i found out here (in your arms) sold a million copies of itself! that means i get a cool platinum plaque! so thank you guys SO MUCH for buying it (and not our whole record, that would have been terrible!) im so stoked. its a first for drive thru records, and obv a first for me! anyways its really really neat and exciting and kinda turns me on a little but also sorrrta makes me dribble out a lil peepee. uh. wow.

so THANK YOU!!! i will repay you slowly and secretly by visiting each of you in the night!
